Organizations are run by people. People drive organizations. People bring value to organizations. Organizations practically cannot live without people. People are the intellectual capital of organizations. The human resource (HR) function is in charge of managing this intellectual capital. In this regard, the HR function needs to be a business partner of organizations. This means it needs to directly contribute to the strategic thrusts and operations of orgazinations. In other words, the HR function needs to be seen as integral to what organizations do. Its value to organizations is measured in terms of what it is doing to enable organizations to move forward and their goals and objectives. The course is a 2-day discussion on the critical role of the human resource (HR) function as a strategic business partner of organizations. It articulates the requirements for the HR function to become an human resource business partner (HRBP) of organizations. It advances the need for HRBP in organizations.
