Makatao Awards for Media Excellence

The Makatao Awards for Media Excellence aims to honor members of the mass media (TV, radio, print, online broadcast and social media) for their outstanding works, articles, features and contributions that enhance public understanding of the role and impact of sound people management in both public and private sector in the country.

Mass Media virtually touched every aspect of our daily live as it plays a significant role in shaping public perception on a variety of important issues through the information that is disseminated through them. When journalists or show hosts are insightful and judicious in their reporting, citizens can play a more informed role in the many issues and debates that shape their communities.

Through this award, PMAP hopes to encourage excellent coverage of people management and other related people issues that promote harmonious relationship between employers and their employees.
