This is a two-day program set to help HR practitioners understanding Accounting and Finance in less technical ways
1. Appreciated the accounting cycle, basic concepts and key outputs of the accounting and financial reporting process
2. Conducted vertical and horizontal analysis on the balance sheet, the income
Statement and how human capital decisions influence the financial statements
3. Learned the Basics of costing and pricing and basic profitability analysis
4. Applying activity based costing in determining the value of HR
Services ( e.g. recruitment )
5. Understood capital budgeting techniques
6. Used HR Metrics in tandem with Financial Metrics to Evaluate Human Capital Performance
Participants shall bring calculators (although most cell phones have them) and better if they can bring a copy of a set of financial statements (audited as this can be treated as a public document) no worry that the statements are to be treated as highly classified or confidential.
