“Unlocking individual change starts and ends with the mental maps people carry in
their heads—how they see the organization and their jobs. Just as actual maps guide the
steps people take on a hike through the Himalayas, mental maps direct people’s behavior
in daily organizational life. And if leaders cannot change individuals’ mental maps,
they will not change the destinations people pursue or the paths they take to get there.”
– J. Stuart Black & Hal B. Gregersen, “Leading Strategic Change: Breaking Through the Brain Barriers

Course Description

This “Managing Change Program” is designed to guide the participants as they facilitate and accelerate the transformation of their respective organizations to become a high performance
organization.

The two-day workshop presents a systematic approach to managing change. It provides the participants with an appreciation of how to deal with change in organizations and an
understanding of the psychological impact of change (transition) on individuals. It offers a framework for creating successful transformation in organizations and provides practical
guidelines, tools, and techniques on how to accept and lead change. The workshop is centered and anchored on both theory and principles of successful change, as well as discussions on
practical implications and applications of these principles on the business.

As a result of this workshop, the participants will be able to have a shared understanding of the change process, develop a common language, shift mindsets or values that are essential to support organization-wide change efforts and effectively execute their role in achieving the objectives of change initiatives.

Course Objectives
