Leadership EQ



RATIONALE:

Leaders who have very high intelligence quotient may not necessarily be effective leaders. The more effective and respected leaders are those who can use their heads and hearts in managing their subordinates. This is the major concern of Leadership EQ, to equip leaders with the proper utilization of intelligence and emotions in influencing associates.

The program start with an evaluation of the participant’s personalities during normal, happy and stressful situations. The major phase of the workshop is enhancing the skills of the leaders in inspiring, encouraging or impelling associate and colleagues. Such skills will assist in the assurance of team performance, coherence, change management and conflict resolution.

OBJECTIVE:

It is not enough to be an effective leader and EQ offers better alternatives to inspire, encourage and impel team members.

By the end of the program, the participants will be able to recognize and apply the leadership behaviors that brings about the successful performance of subordinate using the framework and principles of emotional intelligence.

Participants will get to realize their strong weak points on self- awareness/management and the application of their social and interactive skills as effective leaders.

METHODOLOGY:

Emphasis will be on structured learning experience (SLE) exercises, particularly on communication and feedbacking.

Other diagnostic tools will be used such as Enneagram and the communication styles profile questionnaire.
