MESSAGE
I extend my warmest felicitations to the officers and members of the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) on the occasion of its Second General Membership Meeting for 2008 and the Induction of its new Officers and Board of Directors.
This event will provide human resource management
practitioners from the different sectors and industries the opportunity to
come together and meet on “Enhancing Philippine Global Competitiveness
Through People”, thus making it one of the most highly relevant
activities of your association for the year.
Advancing the quality of our manpower through education and training is high on the agenda of the Department of Labor and Employment. We at the Department are thus supportive and appreciative of the efforts of organizations such as the PMAP that undertake activities that promote the excellence of the Filipino Workforce.
My congratulations to your new officers and board of directors. I am confident that they will lead the PMAP to even greater heights.
