The Human Resources Management Development Center (HRMDC) is the academic institution geared for a comprehensive academic and professional career in HRM focusing on training and on continuing advocacy and professional development in human resources management. With the HRMDC as its educational arm, PMAP offers a varied menu of training programs on general and specific areas of HRM practice.

These seminars, workshops, symposia are suited for those who want to understand and learn the fundamentals of human resources management, the basic principles of HRM functional areas, the latest developments in HR practices, systems and methods, and best of the current practices in a specific-personnel industrial relations area.
The strength of the HRMDC programs is based on the fact that managerial skills and techniques are best taught and advanced by full-time operating executives. Thus the Center's speakers, leaders or trainors at PMAP meetings, seminars, courses and internship activities are all drawn from among the top practitioners in human resources and industrial relations management. These resource persons are carefully chosen for their high caliber experience, competence and ability to teach the principles, skills and techniques they practice. Through many years of teaching and actual practice in their profession, they have gained expertise in their respective subject areas.
Non Curricular Programs
In line with the objective of accreditation and professionalization of the personnel management, the HRMDC Short courses have been re-designed into three classification: basic (core) courses, advanced (continuing) courses and special courses (elective) for career and managerial skills development of the human resources manager. Eventually, the qualifications of PMAP members as professional managers would require completion of certified courses necessary for accreditation.
Curricular Programs/ Diploma in HRM
PMAP is also offering non-degree certificate programs leading to a Diploma in Human Resources Management (DHRM). The DHRM program, accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) was conceived to fulfill the needs of HR practitioners to sharpen their skills in HRM and expand their knowledge in the profession. With the collaboration of educational institutions such as Jose Rizal University, Miriam College, University of Makati and the University of Santo Tomas, certificate courses are conducted by expert HRM practitioners from the ranks of PMAP membership.
Special Public Seminar
PMAP is also offering a modular courses that aims to develop participants. This system covers an intensive and comprehensive study about the modular courses offering. Each modules of which is a complete course in itself and focused in a key result areas. Learning methodology will emphasize on practical application of concepts, so course facilitators will be using a variety of approaches, from lectures to simulations and workshops. Participants can choose to attend only one or all modules, depending on perceived need.
In-House training Services
Aside from public-run short-term courses and certificate programs, the HRMDC also provide in-house management (senior and supervisory) development and HR programs designed to specific company needs. With its pool of seasoned management practitioners, the Center has developed a reputable background in conducting in-house seminars, workshops, etc. For any requests or inquiries

Training Sked
The Center regularly schedules its non-curricular programs on a quarterly basis. The basic or core programs are continuously offered every quarter, advanced on a bi-annual basis and special courses are offered once a year. The Center, through the Association's Lecture Series' Committee, also conducts lecture series sessions geared into discussions/ lectures of new technologies, or systems in HRM. For IR concerns, issues, on the other hand, the Center regularly conducts symposia or fora on the particular industrial relation issue.
